Love Quest

Lea, a 15 years old schoolgirl is in love with Felix, a boy her age. They are the same party, but she does not dare to talk to him, therefore Felix left with Julia. But she is offered a second chance, she can go back in time and change her destiny.

Cécile Despretz is an Atelier Supérieur d’Animation of Paris student since 2016. She directed two short films during her scolarship who were selected by the National Film Festival.

L’infinito

Bye little block!

A young woman learns that soon she will have to move from the blockhouse flat she lives in. After receiving the upsetting news from the owner of the flat she is overwhelmed with emotions. Her teardrop of farewell grows into a concrete monolith. When the drop hits the ground a surreal panorama of the blockhouse area, she used to call home,  unfolds…

Director
She was born and grew up in Budapest and fell in love with drawing and filmmaking in her late teens. She was admitted to MOME’s animation department in 2013 where she finished her BA degree then continued her studies on the MA programme. During her studies she spent an Erasmus semester in Turku, Finland at TUAS’s animation department. Besides developing her film ideas she works as a freelancer animation artist. Bye Little Block! (2020) is her graduation film.

Will Anderson is a BAFTA winning writer/director from the Scottish Highlands. Will’s first short film ‘The Making of Longbird’ won over 30 awards internationally at film festivals & received a British Academy Award for Short Animation in 2013. Since then he has written and directed other shorts including BAFTA nominated ‘Monkey Love Experiments’ with co-director, Ainslie Henderson, BAFTA nominated ‘Have Heart’, and is currently in production on a hybrid documentary feature project. Will also works as a freelance designer & animator working on film, television & interactive projects.

Merry Grandmas

Mascha is desperate to go to a wild New Year’s Eve party, but instead, her parents take her to see her grandmother, who has invited her friends over. This gorgeous animated film pays homage to the lust for life and rebellious streak of older women everywhere.

Born in 1982 in Yerevan. Natalia graduated from the Arts school named after H. Danielyan and Department of Philosophy in Yerevan State University. She attended the faculty of easel graphics in Saint Petersburg Institute of Decorative-Applied Arts. Starting from 2004 works in Peterburg as animator and director. Her films “My Childhood Mystery Tree” and “Chinti” participated in many festivals and received prizes all over the world

Mathilda and the Spare Head

This is a story about a girl who wants to be the smartest person in the world. When all the things she’s learned can no longer fit in one head, her mother buys her a backup one. Two heads are better than one but Matilda soon becomes confused which head should she wear at what time and loses the second head shortly after. It is uncertain what would happen if not for a ball that accidentally flows in through her window. It changes Matilda forever.

Director
Ignas Meilūnas (b. 1985) graduated from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University with BA in Computer Engineering in 2008. He has worked with O. Koršunovas and G. Varnas’ theater troupes as a sound designer and video projection operator. Since 2011, Ignas started working as a freelance 3D and stop-motion animator and director. His debut short animation/fiction film “Woods” has won the Lithuanian Film Academy Award for Best Animation of 2015 and short animation „Mr. Night Has A Day Off“ was selected to more than 50 film festivals.

Lazare fait bien les choses

Lazare Roubichet is an awkward soccer player. To tell the truth, he doesn’t know how to play at all. He’s playing for the PAF, a mediocre club. It’s the championship’s final. Lazare is called to start at the beginning of the second half. What nobody knows at that moment is that Lazare will be a game-changer.

Thomas is a French-American animation director graduated at Animation School “Atelier de Sévres”. He co-directed the short film “Le 12 coups du midi” together with Camille Sallan, Ambre Decruyenaere, Cécile Despretz, Luc Armanet and Lucie Andouche.

Aline decided at the age of four that she would spend her time telling stories later on in life. She learned the craft of animated story-telling at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, finishing in mid-2015.
