The contest is on!
Applications are open to participate in the competition of the second edition of CATCH THE MOON, dedicated to animated short films for children and teenagers.
The animated films must have been made after January 2020. The duration must not exceed 20 minutes. The notification of the selected works will be sent by email one month from the start of the event and posted on the website of the festival. The decisions of the selection committee and the jury are final.
The winners of the awards are established by a jury composed by professionals in the industry, producers, actors, directors, distributors, agents and journalists.
The AUDIENCE AWARD is determined by the votes of the jury of the children. The following prizes will be awarded:
• Best Animated Short film for Kids
• Best Animated Short Film (student film competition)
• Young Audience Award
Furthermore, on the unquestionable decision of the organization, 10 films will be selected to be visible for a year on the video content platform of the San Carlo Theater in Naples.
CATCH THE MOON – International Children & Youth Animated Film Festival is the first sector festival in Campania. A project created by the association Gioco Immagine e Parole, in partnership with the association Atalante, with the purpose of developing, promoting and distributing the animated cinema for children and teenagers.
The project is financed by the NATIONAL CINEMA AND IMAGES FOR SCHOOL PLAN promoted by the Ministry of Culture – General Management for Cinema and Audiovisual and by the Ministry of Education – General Management for students, integration and participation.
